This course helped our professioal development and prepared us for interactions with the more corporate side of the Film and Digital Art field.

On our first class we were given a general introduction and run through of the course and how to create our websites and two different sorts of CV's.

For the second class, we had Ma'am Noorulain Zafer who is a youth development specialist and an expert in the field help us refine our CV's.

The third class was a field trip to the National Incubation Centre, also arranged by Ma'am Noorulain Zafer, NIC is a government backed operation that supports local start-up businesses and gives them a sort of sandbox to fall back on rather than the usual risks that are involved with starting your own business.The trip included talks with one of two founding members, Parvez Abbasi, as well as a discussion with a representative from The Centrum Media and an overview and tour of the facilities given to us by Saran who is a manager and team leader at the centre.

I always enjoy opportunities to question people, so this was a very exciting experience for me, especially considering that I am an avid consumer of TCMs releases on their Instagram and google podcasts!

Our fourth class included an online session with Neil Goridge, who is an independent artist  and lecturer from the UK. He discussed the general work that he does and an over view of how we are expected to conduct ourselves in the inductry. He gave us a general talk about how to maximise our productivity and also not get worn out. It was overall a good session and a good oppertunity to ask questions.
